Description:
Come and experience 360 storytelling from the greatest storytellers in the world.  VR and AR are ushering in a full 360 medium which means immersive content at a mass-scale. This marks an unprecedented opportunity for creators of all types to experience and understand how to design in 360. VR is used for a lot of industries but at the core of everything we do is storytelling and now we can see how creators are exploring and moving the needle forward using this amazing new storytelling tool.
 
In association with the CTN animation eXpo event, The Immersive Storytelling VR Experience is 4-days full of opportunities to explore the 10,000 square feet of storytelling magic. Not only will you be surrounded by these VR and AR greats you will get the opportunity to meet the storytellers that create these incredible stories and learn even more about creating your own stories in VR. What will you create when the possibilities are endless ?

NOTE: VR Manufacture and VR content are for ages 13 and up. All guests must be a minimum of 48 inches (1.20 m) tall and at least 13 years of age or older to visit The Immersive Storytelling VR Experience . You’ll need to sign a waiver before entering Immersive Storytelling VR Experience  and any guests under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the liability waiver.

CTN and Tina are always looking towards the future …….
Tina Price’s curiosity for technology led her with a small team to pioneer 3D computer animation in every Disney film from “Oliver and Company” to “Fantasia 2000”. Calling themselves the "Late Night Crew", this hot group of talent created the first processes and techniques that led to the development and implementation of 3D animation and Disney’s proprietary Ink and Paint Computer Animation Production System (CAPS). Working both traditionally and digitally, Tina spent most of her career contributing to every feature animated film at Disney including the award winning short film shown at SIGGRAPH “Oilspot and Lipstick” and became the first woman to be titled as “Head of Computer Animation” at Walt Disney.She was also honored by the Assoc of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a "Pioneering Woman in Animation"
 
Jake Rowell is leading the way in VR ......
Jake is an independent director/art director and has worked for various companies including Activision/Infinity Ward, Sony Pictures Imageworks and Dreamworks Animation. He is known for his work on the Call of Duty and Final Fantasy franchises and such films as Superman Returns and the Animatrix. Jake recently joined forces with Wevr to direct theBlu: Encounter project debuting on the Valve HTC Vive VR headset. His diverse knowledge and expertise with the 3D medium help push the boundaries of fidelity and performance needed to achieve an immersive VR experience.
