Get read, get better
Two-day workshop March 8-9, 2014
9:00am - 5:00pm
Center Stage Gallery
847 Hollywood Way,
As a follow up to the standing room only “Writing for Animation” workshop at the CTN Expo in November 2013, award-winning writer Rob Edwards (Disney's Academy Award nominated THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG and TREASURE PLANET) will be taking this class through the next steps to building dynamic and entertaining screenplays that will stand toe to toe with the pros.
This intensive weekend is created for any level of writer who wants to be able to quickly identify a story’s 5 Keystones and write magnetic scripts using this industry standard. Everyone will come away with a greater understanding of how and why these 5 Keystones play such an important role in creating captivating and award winning screenplays.
This Master Class will be followed up by a second, month-long MASTER CLASS on April 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th titled WRITING DYNAMIC SEQUENCES in which Rob will jump in the sandbox to break a sequence with every writer who attends and give them feedback on how to make their screenplay better.
Meet Rob Edwards:
Culminating nearly three decades of writing for film and television in Los Angeles, Rob has developed a plethora of tools that he has used to write and consult on several projects at Disney / Pixar including: THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG and TREASURE PLANET.
